You
might think that spiritual healing would involve some form of faith
and a religious service that people have to attend in order to receive
healing. While that might be true of some other organisations,
this is not so at the Redbridge Healing Centre which is a non-denominational
Trust that is open to all.
Our form of healing is the transmission of healing energies through
the healer to the energy field of the patient. Our 30 healers are of different nationalities
and religions, but have a common faith in their ability to help others less fortunate
than themselves. You certainly don't have to be a religious person, or even believe
in healing to receive or benefit from it.
Importantly, all healers have to undergo a 2 year training course and work to
a strict Code of Conduct in line with Government legislation. Patients
are always advised to consult their Doctor and to keep to the treatment and medication
given. However, as many patients testify, healing is very beneficial to
people who are awaiting hospital treatment and surgery as well as being very
beneficial to people following treatment and surgery and during long-term palliative
care.
Healing also brings comfort and peace to those suffering from stress and anxiety, or for those who just need to sit somewhere quiet and peaceful to recharge their energies. Indeed, some Doctors are now encouraging healing for their patients.
It certainly is a very relaxing experience. Healing is carried out with the client sitting on a chair fully clothed, with soft lighting and music setting the atmosphere. What's more, the Redbridge Healing Centre makes no charge for its service; instead there is a basket on the reception desk for voluntary donations if you would like to make one.
The Centre is open to everyone and anyone. Although we can't promise cures and nobody knows why or how spiritual healing works, it can help whether the problem is physical, emotional, or mental.
